Finland is one of the world’s biggest oat exporters, and that’s no accident: short, cool summers with light almost round the clock are exactly what this cereal loves. Our oats are organically grown in Finland. To keep them gluten-free, they are grown, harvested and processed separately from wheat, barley and rye to avoid cross-contamination. After harvest, the grain is cleaned, dehulled, gently heat-treated to stabilise it and milled whole, bran included: that’s why it’s a wholegrain flour.
