Organic date powder

Give your breakfast a serious upgrade. And your sugar bowl while you're at it.

This is what happens when you take organic Tunisian dates, dehydrate them, and grind them. That's it. 100% date, zero nonsense. No anti-caking agents, no maltodextrin, no "natural flavours" that aren't really that natural.

Date powder is the sweetener you didn't know you were looking for: the caramel notes of the Deglet Nour date, the fibre of whole fruit, and a mineral profile that white sugar will never give you. Real potassium, magnesium and iron — not label decoration.

Why we rate it:

- High in fibre (14 g/100 g). Refined sugar has zero.
- High in potassium and magnesium. Source of iron.
- No added sugars — the 79 g per 100 g are the natural sugars of whole fruit, not something added afterwards.
- 100% organic. One ingredient, certified bio.
- Origin: Tunisia, historic home of the Mediterranean date.

Organic date powder

How to use it:

Stir into your porridge or overnight oats and forget table sugar exists. Mix with almond butter or cashew butter for five-minute energy balls. Use it in home baking as a 1:1 sugar replacement (adjust the flour a touch — it adds some moisture). Brilliant in post-workout smoothies with cacao powder and banana, on yoghurt with granola and freeze-dried fruit, or stirred into coffee for a proper natural take on iced caramel latte.

What it isn't:

It's not coconut sugar. It's not panela. It's not reduced date syrup. It's whole dehydrated fruit, ground fine, with all its fibre and minerals intact. It's still sugar — fruit sugar, but sugar — so use it with your head. The difference is your sugar bowl now tastes of caramel and gives you something other than empty calories.

The story: the dates come from the Kebili region of Tunisia, one of the oldest date-growing areas in the Mediterranean. Certified organic, low-temperature dehydrated and cold-milled to keep the aroma intact.
