Organic Shredded coconut

The coconut palm is so useful that across much of Asia it's called the tree of life: every part of it gets used, from trunk to leaves. Our desiccated coconut comes from Sri Lanka, one of the world's big coconut producers, and is organically grown. The process is simple: ripe coconuts are cracked open, the white flesh is separated from the shell, washed, finely grated and dried with hot air until almost all its moisture is gone. That's how it keeps without anything being added.
