AZADA began its journey in 2009, inspired by our founder's childhood memories, with a passion for producing flavored olive oils (you can check our flavored olive oils website here ) and quickly becomes Spain's leading specialty olive oil producer.

Over time, our passion for innovation and wellness led us to explore more ways to help people lead healthier lives. As the world of nutrition and *biohacking* evolved, so did our brand. We expanded beyond olive oils, embracing the growing demand for convenient, natural products that support optimal health.

Our range includes wholesome granolas , freeze-dried fruits , nut butters , nutrient-packed nuts and seeds , dried fruits , and of course, a selection of olive oils suitable for breakfast.

Our evolution into a healthy snack and breakfast company reflects our commitment to providing products that fuel both body and mind.

AZADA begins its journey

We began our journey as a small olive oil company offering 'Spain in a bottle'. Branding has always been fundamental for the growth of our company and projecting our Spanish heritage has been present in our communication since day one.

This is our first design concept, all hand-written and made by hand.

Our first flavored olive oils

We knew the olive oil category was a mature market with over 1,000 brands in Spain alone. How will we ever stand out from our competition? The answer was clear: by launching flavored olive oils and telling a story through our labels.

Our first exhibition in London, UK

Our first exhibition at the Specialty & Fine Food Fair was a total hit, making our first move into international markets.

Launch of AZADA first cold pressed nut oils

AZADA launched one of Europe's best line of specialty oils: a selection of cold pressed roasted hazelnut, roasted almond and roasted pistachios oils.

Top 50 foods in the UK

We are in the TOP 50 FOODS with our selection of cold pressed nut oils.

HOE Pistachio oil wins Golden Fork

In the 2013 Great Taste edition, AZADA was awarded 3-stars for its hazelnut, almond, peanut and pistachio oils and was a winner of the Golden Fork Trophy for its virgin pistachio oil.

AZADA gets listed all around the world including Selfridges, Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Dean & Deluca and Julius Meinl.

HOE in flagship stores around the world

AZADA becomes one of Spain's top specialty olive oils around the world, expanding into Japan, US, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Taiwan.

AZADA rebrands to white bottles

AZADA rebrands all its portfolio to white bottles, the first producer in the world to use white for its bottles, disrupting the category of olive oil once more.

AZADA launches in Germany

AZADA opens its office in Berlin, quickly becoming one of Spain's top specialty olive oil brands in the German market.

No harvesting at night

We absolutely reject the agricultural practice of nocturnal harvesting of olives, which causes the death of almost three million birds a year.

As part of our sustainability commitment, we substitute our plastic labels for compostable labels.

What next?

Since 2019, coinciding with our 10th anniversary, we have been embarked onto transcending from an olive oil company to a snack & breakfast food company.
